First love is always awkward, and even more uncomfortable is the dreaded first date. But when your first love is Superboy and your first date is in Smallville, things are bound to get crazy!

When she hears that Black Wind has escaped custody, and probably left the country, Batgirl heads to Smallville to track down Superboy, in search of romance. They are interrupted by various things, such as Ma Kent and a plane, before encountering a being escaped from S.T.A.R. Labs which seems aggressive, but which Batgirl can tell is simply lonely. By the end of this encounter, the two realize that they don't really want to do the romance thing, but they do want to remain friends.
